Last updated: August 2026. Technical Surveyor operates technicalsurveyor.in (the “Site”). This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how advertising works on the Site, and your choices. Contact: admin@technicalsurveyor.in.
Information we collect
- Tools and document generators process entered values and uploaded Excel/GIS files in your browser. DOCX and PDF exports are generated on your device and are not uploaded to our server.
- Server logs may include IP address, browser type, request URL, and timestamps (hosting provider: Hostinger).
- Contact / report forms collect the details you submit (name, email, message, optional page URL) so we can reply.
- Newsletter / app waitlist collect your email when you opt in.
- Theme preference (light/dark) is stored in your browser via
localStorage— not on our servers.
Cookies and local storage
We use limited first-party storage for site preferences. Some tools request third-party map tiles (for example OpenStreetMap, Esri, CARTO, or related providers), which can expose your IP address and requested map area to that provider. Optional analytics and advertising services load only after consent.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display ads on some pages of this Site (for example guides and hub pages — not on interactive calculator forms). Publisher ID: pub-7719457991506511. In line with Google AdSense required content:
- Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

When ads are active, our pages may load scripts from Google domains such as googlesyndication.com, doubleclick.net, and related Google advertising domains. A cookie notice lets you choose Accept all (optional advertising/analytics cookies) or Essential only (site preference storage). Your choice is stored in your browser via localStorage. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
We do not place ads next to official-looking document generators (for example Form-1 / Form-2 / F-Line notice tools) so field work stays clear of advertising chrome.
Authorized sellers (ads.txt)
We publish an ads.txt file at the site root listing Google as an authorized digital seller for our inventory, following the IAB Tech Lab ads.txt standard and Google’s ads.txt guide.
How we use information
- Operate and improve guides, tools, and site performance
- Respond to contact form and correction reports
- Send waitlist or newsletter messages only if you subscribed
- Measure aggregate traffic and, when enabled, show relevant advertising
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
Contact and waitlist records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. Server logs are retained according to our host’s default rotation.
Children
The Site is intended for professionals and students of land surveying. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Use browser controls to block or delete cookies
- Opt out of personalized ads via Ads Settings
- Email us to correct or delete contact/waitlist data we hold about you
Third-party links and tools
Guides may link to government portals or external resources. Their privacy practices are their own. Some tools load third-party libraries (for example mapping or document libraries) under those vendors’ terms.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Site or advertising setup changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
