How to study this set
- Separate procedure from calculation. Mark questions that ask for a statutory or office procedure separately from questions requiring field-book work, area, scale, or instrument knowledge.
- Write the authority beside each procedure. Where relevant, note the Survey and Boundaries Act provision, Board Standing Order, government order, or departmental instruction you would verify.
- Practise complete descriptive answers. Use a sequence such as purpose, records required, field steps, office record, notice or signature requirement, and final check.
- Treat the practical paper as a workflow test. Show units, intermediate calculations, checks, and the final record clearly instead of writing only the answer.
