Turn each paper into a practice plan
- Attempt under time. Work without notes first so you can see where recall or calculation speed fails.
- Classify each mistake. Mark it as concept, field sequence, office record, legal authority, unit conversion, or arithmetic.
- Verify, then rewrite. Check the current Act, BSO, manual, or departmental instruction before preparing a model answer.
- Repeat calculations manually. Use an online calculator only to check your result after showing units and intermediate steps.
Lower Grade foundation topics
Use the papers to identify what you personally need to revise. Useful foundations on this site include:
- Surveying principles, classifications, units, and field stages
- Chain survey instruments and their uses
- Diagonal and offset survey method
Historical papers are evidence of older examinations, not a promise that the same questions or rules will apply to a new session.
